Flight Information

Apollo Bay Aviation is conveniently located at Apollo Bay Airport, just 2.5 km west of the Apollo Bay township. Easily accessible by road, our location offers a perfect starting point for your scenic helicopter journey along Victoria’s stunning coastline.

Our tours are ideal for families, couples, and anyone looking to create lasting memories. Whether you’re celebrating a special occasion or simply want to experience something unique together, our scenic flights offer an unforgettable adventure. Looking for the perfect gift? Surprise a loved one with the gift of flight — our Gift Vouchers make an amazing present for any occasion!

Our gift vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase, giving you plenty of time to plan your scenic adventure. After the 12-month period, if you haven’t had the chance to use the voucher, a 25% re-activation fee will apply to extend its validity. We recommend redeeming your voucher within the year to fully enjoy the experience, but should you need extra time, we’re happy to accommodate with a small re-activation fee. It’s the perfect gift to look forward to, whenever you’re ready!

A minimum of two passengers is required for each flight, so single-person bookings cannot be accepted. However, if you’d prefer to fly solo, we can arrange a private flight for you at an additional cost. Please contact us in advance to discuss availability and pricing for private tours.
Each of our helicopters has specific weight limits to ensure the safety and comfort of all passengers. While we can accommodate everyone, please note that if a passenger exceeds 125kg, an additional surcharge may apply. This is to account for weight distribution and ensure the best experience for all guests on board. If you have any concerns about weight limits, feel free to contact us before booking, and we’ll be happy to assist you.
We warmly welcome passengers of all ages, from infants to seniors, to experience our scenic flights. For safety and comfort, children over 2 years old will need their own seat. Infants under 2 years can fly free of charge on a parent’s lap, but please let us know in advance so we can make the necessary arrangements. We want everyone to have a memorable and enjoyable experience in the skies!
Absolutely! We encourage photography throughout your flight. Our pilots ensure there’s plenty of time for you to capture breathtaking shots of the coastline from the air. Plus, we offer photo opportunities in front of the helicopter both before and after the flight, so you can take home some fantastic memories.

If your flight is cancelled due to inclement weather, we will work with you to reschedule your tour at the earliest available opportunity. However, if rescheduling is not feasible, a full refund will be issued.

Please note, the company is not responsible for any costs incurred by passengers as a result of changes to their independent travel plans, including accommodation, transport, or other bookings. This applies to operational changes made to our tour schedule, including weather-related delays. We recommend allowing extra flexibility in your itinerary to accommodate potential changes.

This will provide added peace of mind in case of unforeseen circumstances that may affect your travel plans. Travel insurance can help cover potential costs related to cancellations, delays, or other unexpected events, ensuring that your experience remains as smooth and stress-free as possible.

If you need to make changes to your booking, such as adjusting the date or time, simply contact us as soon as possible. We’ll do our best to accommodate your request, subject to availability. Please note that changes are subject to our booking policy and may be dependent on availability.

Online Purchases

Is online booking required? For guaranteed availability, we recommend booking online in advance. However, we also welcome walk-in passengers. Please be aware that, depending on existing bookings, we may not always be able to accommodate same-day guests, so availability for walk-ins is not guaranteed. If you’d like some personalised assistance, feel free to book by phone or email, and we’ll be happy to guide you through the process.

There is a minimum number of TWO passengers required for all tours to proceed. If that number has not been met, we will reach out.
All online payments are secured and encrypted.
